About Our Founder
I grew up in a quiet country town, about 100km from the nearest city – a place where shops were few and opportunities felt even fewer. My childhood bedroom doubled as the birthplace of a dream. I was 18, still living at home, sharing a room that barely fit my single bed (mum had a rule that double beds were “for sex” – strict is an understatement).
I didn’t know a single thing about running a business. But I did know I wanted more. One night, I booked a flight overseas with zero preparation and within 24 hours, I was sitting across from manufacturers on the other side of the world. That trip changed everything.
Starting from scratch, I la
unched a luxury pyjama label from my bedroom – no fancy warehouse, no staff, just grit. I balanced a corporate job, squeezing in time to pack orders on my lunch breaks, before work, after work, and running to the post office before it closed. Every spare moment went into building this brand.
There were plenty of setbacks, moments of doubt, and the constant question of “Am I doing this right?” But I stayed hands-on, learning everything the hard way. Today, I still run the business full-time from my spare bedroom – not because I have to, but because it keeps me grounded. It reminds me where I started, and why I’ll never stop.
What began as a wild idea from a small town has now grown into something so much bigger. And this is still just the beginning.
