A lot of us has been staying at home more than ever due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. We need to practice self-care more than ever and it is very essential for our emotional health and well-being.

Self care is not selfish, self-care means that you’re willing to accept yourself and acknowledge the fact that you have both strengths and weaknesses. You should be able to take care of yourself before somebody else. 

Here are a list of self-care things that you can do at home: 

 

1. Sleep

When it comes to taking care of your health and well-being, sleep is pretty much always part of the answer. Getting enough good-quality sleep keeps your immune system running at its best to fight of infection and diseases.  

 

2. Exercise 

We tend to lounge around where we're just all at home. Well, that shouldn't be the case. Staying active does not only keep your physical body healthy but it also improves our overall mood and mental health. 

 

3. Declutter

Have a mini declutter session, get rid of the things you don't need and you'll find yourself with much more space. Tidying up can also elevates the mood 

4. DIY Facial Masks

Skincare is not only relaxing to our mind but also good for our skin. Face masks can be really beneficial for your skin because they’re occlusive, meaning they seal in their ingredients against your skin until you wash off the mask. 

 

5. Take a long relaxing bath

Warm baths are so relaxing and can reduce our stress levels. Having long warm baths allows us to take a break and unwind.
