If you are the type of person often staying up late, binge-watching your favourite series or endlessly scrolling through social media and regretting it the next day, this ones for you. We gathered some tips that will help you gain the proper amount of sleep you need and also set yourself up for a more productive day.

Limit your caffeine intake

Be mindful of when you take your tea or coffee. We suggest drinking it any time up until 1 pm. Or you can opt for some caffeine-free tea.

Create a nighttime routine

People are creatures of habits. Once you create your ideal nighttime routine, you’ll most probably stick to it. Apply your favourite face mask, read a book, play some relaxing music, or take a hot bath after a long day. It doesn’t have to be carefully planned out, be creative!

Stay out of bed during the day.

It’s important to stay away from your bed when you are not sleeping. Keep your bedroom your sleep sanctuary.

Minimize screen use, especially close to bedtime

This one is obvious but the hardest to do. Force yourself to have discipline. When you’re in bed, your mind needs to be relaxed. Try reading a book instead of using any digital devices.

Get some exercise during the day

Try to get at least 30 mins of exercise during the day. A run or a HIIT workout throughout the day will spark some energy, and by the end of the day, you’ll be comfortably worn out and be ready to take a rest.

Drink chamomile tea

For your nighttime beverage, opt for some chamomile tea. Chamomile is packed with melatonin which helps you to get to sleep and regulate better sleep cycles.
